Flesh and Soul

As we grow older, the flesh comes undone. We search for the beauty in the soul in recompense.

What’s in the soul? What is it, for that matter?

No one seems to know for certain.

  1. Now, now, Lynn, you’re getting way too metaphysical. Let’s get rid of the “soul” part once and for all 🙂

You’re losing your philosophical bearings. One of the best titles ever of a book is Lakoff’s “Philsophy In The Flesh”, remember.

But I can easily appreciate your sentimentality. All the best luck with V. You deserve it.

  2. He doesn’t need luck. He has her.

  3. That’s great news.

All the best (of luck) to BOTH of you 🙂

  4. Orla,

Thanks, for taking me to task. The soul is embodied; we think metaphorically. Still, it seems a mystery how that could happen.

As for V, she started as a dream. Now, she’s real. I am apprehensive about the day when she will turn into a dream again.
