Baseball, etc.

Hoagie and I went to the Cubs/Brewers game yesterday. The weather was sunny, but we sat in the upper deck in the shade with a brisk wind blowing into us. I did not have gloves, so my fingers turned to ice by the time we left. I can’t drink beer in cold weather anymore, so I only drank one at the ballpark.

The Cubs lost 8 to 2. Darn.

V joined Hoagie, Hoagie’s girlfriend, and me at a bar after the game. That was fun. It erased some of the embarrassment of being a Cubs fan.

The White Sox lost again yesterday. Chicago baseball is 0 for 4 so far this week. Oh well, we’ll get ‘em today.
