I have begun the arduous task of studying the nine games of chess I have lost since October.  We learn more from our losses than from our wins.

I imagine playing Morphy, Capablanca, Fischer, or Kasparov at a game of chess.  My chances of winning a game are as close to nil as they get.

Playing games of all sorts I cannot win seems unavoidable.  We learn from our losses.
